DC Police Memorial Fundraiser

If you have not already done so, please remember to get your tickets for the upcoming dinner dance fundraiser to help renovate the Metropolitan DC Police Memorial. The event will take place July 13, 2019, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, 20 MacDill Blvd., SW, Washington, DC. 20032. Tickets are $60.00 each and cover dinner, dancing, and a night of positive networking for a very good cause. A cash bar will also be available.
The memorial commemorates those Metropolitan DC Police Officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in their service to the Washington, DC community. Dedicated in 1942, the memorial has fallen into disrepair and is need of attention and upgrading. Your much needed donations will contribute to those efforts and certainly be appreciated. Insight as to the importance of the effort is highlighted in the letter below from Ms. Samantha Nolan.
Our Chapter voted to support this event, and it’s now time to stand up and make good on our commitment by purchasing tickets for the event, or helping to promote their sale. It’s also a great time and opportunity to become part of a collective and historically significant venture.
