“Passing,” a Play by Nileah Bell & Mary Nyingi

Chapter member Nileah Bell co-wrote a play that is debuting at the Capital Fringe Festival (DC) in July 2017 running for 5 shows.

Passing, adapted from Nella Larsen’s 1929 novella, refers to blacks who passed as whites and this story in particular is about two childhood friends who passed for different reasons and are forced to examine this when their paths cross again.
