Note from Washington DC Chapter President:

Members,

This is a reminder of the Region II Training Meeting and Election to be held April 28, 2018, in Harrisburg, PA.  Information on the meeting has been previously distributed, repeatedly, but this message conveys the formal flyer. Please review it and respond accordingly to ensure that you are included in the count. This is especially necessary if you plan on taking advantage of the lunch being provided.

Also, remember that the Region II election will be held at this meeting and our own Chapter member, Stella Thomas, will be running for the position of Region II Vice President. In as much as this is an important position that allows chapters in the region a voice at the National Board meetings, it is important that we elect a conscientious Vice President who represents us well while ensuring that matters of substance and relevance are thoughtfully and effectively addressed. With that in mind I urge those who can attend the meeting to come out and participate. Stella has proven herself to be a hardworking and dedicated NOBLE member and she will need our support.

For those who wish to stay in Harrisburg overnight, there is a Hampton Inn and a Springhill Suites – Marriott on Capital Drive, Harrisburg Pa. 17110. The hotels are literally next door to one another and approximately 1 1/2 miles from the meeting location at Widener University. Harrisburg is approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive (roughly 95 miles) from DC. We are investigating obtaining group transportation, but have not yet solidified any arrangements.
